He was 65 years old, and was born in New Bridge. He was the son of John and Matilda Clark.
For the last thirty-three years he has made his home in Amsterdam, during all of which time he was employed as millwright in the mills now owned by John K. Stewart & Sons. He was a member there of Chuctanunda lodge, No. 200, Knights of Pythias, and of the First Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, also by one daughter, Mrs. J.P. Fort, of Utica; two sisters, Mrs. William Kilbourn and Mrs. James Pirie both of Amsterdam; four brothers, George A., of Warsaw, F.W. and John M., of Amsterdam, and Theodore H., of Saratoga, and one grandson, Edwin P. Fort, of Utica.
The remains will be brought to Amsterdam on Wednesday, and the funeral will be held at the First Baptist church at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Green Hill.
