Obituary - Edna LeRene York Lance, 87, passed away on January 21, 1995. Born June 2, 1907, in Frankburg, Alberta, Canada to William Wallace and Jane Heelis York.


Married Milton A. Lance, on August 15, 1931, in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1983.


Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, working principally in the Relief Society. Member Daughters of Utah Pioneers.


Even though she didn't raise children of her own, she was deeply loved and endeared by her many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.


Preceded in death by brothers, Wally, Willis, Glen, and LeVon York; sisters, Elizabeth Rooney, Laura Yorgason, Fern Anderson, and Ethel Walker.


Funeral services Wednesday, January 25, 1995, at 12:00 noon, Wells Ward Chapel, 1990 So. 500 East, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Larkin Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Primary Childrens Medical Center.
