Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Nina Bell Peterson Brinkerhoff, age 79, died on March 2, 2009 at her home in Bicknell.


She was born December 26, 1929 in Loa, Utah, a daughter of Joseph Christian and Margaret (Maggie) Rebecca Rees Peterson.


She married Bliss Burr Brinkerhoff on January 20, 1948 in Lyman, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.


She is survived by her husband of Bicknell; children: Rollo Brinkerhoff of Roosevelt; David Brinkerhoff, Chad Brinkerhoff, Dwight Brinkerhoff and Linda Black, all of Bicknell; Neal Brinkerhoff of Cedar City; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Afton Taylor and sister-in-law: LaRue Peterson, both of Loa. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jane, Thomas, Brig, Iris, Quincy, Clyde and Delia, Margaret and Grant Chappell, Clifton V. and Theda J. Peterson, Clinton Peterson and Elva Taylor.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel in Bicknell, where friends may call for a viewing on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
