Rollin Pritchard, son of John and Martha Peck Pritchard, was born in a sod house on his parents homestead in upper Pleasant Valley. He attended school at Pleasant Valley. After a brief time in the army during WWI. Rollin farmed with his family until his marriage to Ruth Synder on September 27, 1941.
Rollin and Ruth "Maybelle" lived on the Wing farm just east of the homestead where he was born. Lowell Wayne and Linda Morgan were born on this farm.
Rollin and Maybelle farmed until 1959. They moved to Hazard and then to Ravenna in 1967.
Rollin is survived by his wife, daughter Linda Morgan, and seven grandchildren; brother, Cecil Pritchard; and sister, Mary Delda Souser of Otis Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his son Lowell and daughter-in-law Elaine; by his parents; brothers; Joseph, Arthur, and Robert; and sister Hattie Moxley of Lebanon, Oregon.
