The biological mother of Carrie was Matilda Zipporah Davis, she was born 01 Feb 1854 in Ohio and died Dec 1874 in Clyde, Cloud County, Kansas. 03 Jul 1870 was the marriage date of George and Matilda in Nebraska. She died in an unfortunate accident involving a kerosene lamp. George McRie Cameron was my great great grandfather James' brother. Carrie was raised by the sister of George and James, named Mary Cameron Fetterman and her husband Nathaniel Fetterman. It appears that Mary Fetterman was buried in Evergreen as well, which I just learned this morning. Mary and her husband lived in New Mexico and her husband died in 1919 in New Mexico.
