REIST, Orvilla (Mrs. Harvey) - Peacefully, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2009, at Leisureworld Care Centre, Elmira. Orvilla (Stickney) Reist in her 93rd year, of Elmira, formerly of RR 2, Drayton. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Reist (1986). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Earl and Ruth Reist of Varney, Marilyn and Jack Yolkowskie of Waterloo, Ron Reist and Sandra of Waterloo and Richard Cathrea of Elmira. Also fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Dear sister of Wilma Reist of Bridgeport and Harold Stickney of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Emma Stickney; one daughter, Mavis Cathrea (2006); two brothers, Ernest and Clarence Stickney and one sister, Vera Stickney. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Friday, March 6, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Emmerson officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation (Cardiac Care) would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
