PIONEER DRUGGIST WAS LAID AT REST
Mr. and Mrs. W N Jones and daughters, Margaret and Sarah, of 606 Avenue A east, attended the funeral of Mrs. Jones' father, John B. Ira, aged 90 years, which was held yesterday afternoon at Lyons, the Knights Templar having charge.
John Ira was an old settler in Lyons, and has been in the drug store business there for many years. Although 90 years old at the time of his death he worked in his store until two weeks ago when he became ill. He was a member of the GAR, Knights Templar, Odd Fellows and beloved by all who knew him. His wife died about 25 years ago. He is survived by nine children.
