Life of Charles Wilson Ended
At the Columbus hospital yesterday morning at 9 o'clock occurred the death of Charles H. Wilson, one of the oldest passenger engineers in period of service, running on the Montana Central.
Mr. Wilson had been suffering from appendicitis for several weeks having submitted to an operation at the hospital about a week ago. The remains were removed to the residence, 514 Fourth street from where the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, services to be conducted by Rev. E. P. Giboney. Interment will be made in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and in the early days of Great Northern had charge of the track laying on the Cascade division. He came to Montana Central 12 years ago and has since been employed here as an engineer.
He was born at Morning Sun, Iowa, 53 years ago and leaves four brothers and two sisters residing at that place. He is survived by a wife and three children, of the latter Miss Ethel Wilson, residing here, Mrs. Edna Orr, Butte, and Ned Wilson, in Seattle.
