Lupe died from cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer and passed away about two months later. A wonderful woman who was always smiling. Her grandchildren were always with her, they loved being with their grandmother. She would tell people her grandchildren were her little "chiclets", they stuck to her like chewing gum. As you can see, she had a sense of humor, and left this earth much too soon.

Visitation for Guadalupe Beltran Perez was held at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday, Aug. 31, from with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial was held at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, September 1, at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Wasco Cemetery.

Guadalupe was born Jan. 24, 1937 in Wasco, Calif., and she passed away Aug. 28, 2006 with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerardo Perez; parents, Esperion and Antonia Beltran; brother, Juan Beltran and infant daughter, Margaret Perez. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Jesse Granados; daughter and fiance, Esther Perez and Preston Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and David Pena,; son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Veronica Perez; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Maria Beltran; sister Carmen Nadal; sister Lucy Flores; sister and brother-in-law, Lolly and Frank Lerichi; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
