Frances Margaret Jones Watson
Frances Margaret Jones Watson was born August 22, 1874 at Skullyville Choctaw Indian Territory, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Jones and Jennie C. Faulkner Jones. She married Amasa Watson on June 5, 1891. They had three children, Mary Rebecca, Amasa Howell, and Sudie F. Watson. Her baby, Sudie died, May 14, 1903 and she died about five months later, on October 24, 1903. It has been said she died of "consumption" which is what they called tuberculosis in that era.
She was survived by her husband of the home; a daughter, Mary Rebecca Watson; a son, Amasa Howell Watson; two sisters, Mary Ellen Jones Arndt and Aran Rebecca Jones Connors; and numerous nieces and nephews.
May God rest her sweet soul.
