She was born Jan. 30, 1935, in Monrovia, the daughter of Gerald & Opal (Martin) Pottorff.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Linton. She worked at the Triangle Restaurant in Worthington and as head cook at Glenburn Home for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Moody, to whom she was married Aug. 8, 1953; a daughter, Melissa (John) Robinson of Linton; a son, Garry (Diane) Moody of Madisonville, Ky.; a sister, Ima Stayton of Martinsville; two brothers, Austin Pottorff of Martinsville and Marvin Pottorff of Westphalia; three grandchildren, Rachel (Robbie) Boldrey of Linton, Rebecca (Josh) Templeton of Linton, and Elizabeth Moody of Linton; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Homer Pottorff.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Gene Riker and John Riker officiating. Burial will follow at Dugger Cemetery.
