Married Sarah Feb. 10, 1875. They resided on their 258-acre farm one mile east of Aleppo, PA. They were members of the Centennial Church of God. Mr. Mitchell was a school director for many years.

Blair Mitchell was born near Oak Forest, Greene County, Pa. Jan.21,1850 and died at his home near Aleppo Pa. Oct. 31,1935, being 85 yrs 9 months and 10 days of age. He was the son of the late John W. Mitchell and Elizabeth Hunt. In February, 1875 he was united in marriage to Sarah Ann Ullom, who died in Jan.,1919. During his early married life, he and his wife united with the Centennial Church of God and gave their constant support through out the remainder of their lives. To this union were born five children, four of whom are still living, namely Florence M. Weimer, of Pittsburgh PA and Carrie Mitchell, Bertha M. Shough and Roscoe C. Mitchell at home. One granddaughter survives, Madeline Shough (Lemmon).

He also leaves one brother, Nathaniel J. Mitchell of Ashland, Ohio.
