NAPLES, Texas—Alma Lea Walden, 82, of Centerville, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, in Centerville.

Mrs. Walden was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Spring Hill community, Texas. She was a retired quality controller with Texas Instruments, Dallas, and a member of First Baptist Church, Leona, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Walden.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Judy Borah of Normangee, Texas, and Kim and Andy Molina of Kauffman, Texas; one sister, Mattie Lou Brewer of DeKalb, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Horace and Margaret Haddock of Texarkana and James Byron and Ida Haddock of Idabel, Okla.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, DeKalb, with Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church fellowship hall.

Memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Crippled Children's Hospital, Dallas.
