He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association - Branch 290, VFW Post #3270, Ribault Masonic Lodge #272, Scottish Rite, and the Morocco Shrine Center. Survivors include his wife, Nancy N. Gordon; sons, Gary Musselwhite and Edward S. Chatham, Jr.; sister, Lassey Maas; brother-in-law, Jason A. Newton, Jr.; sister-in-law, Jewel Young; grandchildren, Gary Wade Musselwhite, Jr., Monica Musselwhite, Kara Jade Chatham, and Jason Edward Chatham; and two great-grandchildren.
