Scruffy was a Terrier Mix and a pound puppy saved for a better life. She was spoiled and lived more as a child than a pet. She was affraid of thunder and had to have pills to calm her down. She would become agitated when she saw a rolled up newspaper. She contracted cancer in her mouth and had to be put to rest. I remember the life fading from her as I held her in my arms. Chasing squirrels was her favorite passtime.
