Mr. Phillips, Route 1 Krum, died Sunday in Eldridge, Calif. He was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Crafton, Tex. and married Mary Novalene Sampley May 15, 1947 in Senate, Tex. He was a veteran of World War II, a diary farmer, and a member of the Krum Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Krum; three sons, Eddie Phillips, Larry Phillips and James Phillips all of Krum; his mother, Mrs. Clydella Phillips of Sonoma, Calif.: two sisters, Mrs. Della Riddle of Jacksboro and Mrs. Minnie Riddle
of Woodson; five brothers, Joe Phillips of Guam, Oscar Phillips of Scotia, Calif.; Jack Phillips of Eldridge, Calif.; Bill Phillips of Redding, Calif. and Calvin Phillips of Pasadena, Calif.
