Survivors include his wife, Betty Carmer Howell; a son, Dale (Esther) Howell; a daughter, Wanda (Karl Blow) Pruonto; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Victor (Vivian) Howell and a sister, Mildred Granger.
He was a brother of the late Burton, Hubert and Richard Howell and Wilma Hopkins.
