Eva Irene Knotts, 78, of Manheim, died Thurs., Sept. 30, 1982 at Garrett Memorial Hospital in Oakland, Md. She was born May 22, 1904 at Shelbyville, Ind., a daughter of the late Harvey P. and N. May Applegate. Survivors include her husband, Willard Knotts; three sons, Charles William Knotts of Lantz Ridge, Ernest Raymond Knotts of Detriot, and Paul Richard Knotts of Spelter; one brother, Royal Applegate of Calf.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Burial was in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Lantz Ridge.
