Excerpt -- Harvey Applegate, 80, a resident of here 38 years, died yesterday at his home on South Richland Street. He was born at Shelbyville and was a retired truck driver for Central Fuel Company Inc. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Burnette and Mrs. Emily Cummins, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Irene Knotts and Mrs. May Rosier, both of Rowlesburg, W.Va.; three sons, Thomas L. Applegate of Nashville, Robert Applegate of Denver, Col., and Royal Applegate of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Sandefur of Indianapolis, and two brothers, Edgar Applegate of Indianapolis, and Carl Applegate of Phoenix.
