KIMBALL, John Spaulding was born September 8, 1875, in Royalton Township, Windsor County, Vermont the son of John J. Kimball III and Priscilla Spaulding. He married Ruth Buckman October 15, 1807 in Royalton, Vermont and they were the parents of nine children, Lucy (Amander Pembroke Thomas), Joel B., Minerva A., John Jay, Leonard Lucky, Mark A., Luke S., Devalson Jeremiah, and Delos Reclue. He was in the first group of Settlers to arrive with Joe Naper in 1831. He was a Charter Member of Euclid Lodge and served as the first Tyler. He was exalted a Royal Arch Mason on July 28, 1851 and served as Treasurer of Euclid Chapter No. 13 in 1855. He was a Farmer and later a Carpenter. He died December 30, 1861 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
