Mr. Munoz was born Dec. 5, 1968 in Casa Grande. He was a welder. He loved to watch sports and his favorite sayings were "Go D-Backs" and "Go Suns." He was the life of family parties and was full of humor. He enjoyed photography and made family photos and DVDs.
Survivors include a daughter, Karmel Smalley, of Casa Grande; a son, Cody Smith, of Coolidge; two brothers, Joe Munoz Jr., of Casa Grande and Fernando Munoz, of Morenci; five sisters, Janie Mollon, of Phoenix, Patricia McNeil, of Chandler, Rosa Hahn, Susie Ruiz and Yolanda Munoz, all of Casa Grande; 11 nieces; and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Louisa and Joe R. Munoz.
