Excerpt -- Frank Lesley Plum, 77, Newburg, died Saturday at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born March 19, 1897 in Tucker County, a son of the late David and Carrie Ramouse Plum. He wass a retired coal miner. Surviving is one son, Ernest William Plum, of Zanesville, Oh.; five daughters, Mrs. Gaye Menear, of Kingwood, Mrs. Dorothy Stone and Mrs. Pauline Friend, both of Newburg; Mrs. Freda Conner, Valley Point, and Mrs. Martha Bell Hauge, of Marion, Oh.; two brothers, William Plum, of Phoenix and Virgil Plum, of Zanesville, Oh.; one sister, Mrs. Iva Vaughn, of Zanesville; 19 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Durr Plum, three brothers and seven sisters. Burial will be in Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
