Her son Robert, Sr (my paternal grandfather) was only ten years old when she passed, but he remembered the local doctor making a house call and being unable to measure her blood pressure because it was apparently so high it would not register. The doctor said that there was nothing he could do, and she passed away shortly thereafter. Her husband went on to remarry and have eight additional children.

Mrs. Mary Moore dies at home in Shiloh Township - Mary Moore, wife of Mr. M. E. Moore, died Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock at her home in Shiloh township. The funeral service was held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from Snow Creek church, conducted by Rev. I. P. Frazier, of Statesville, and interment was in Snow Creek cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was 49 years old. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Eli, Roy, Robert, and Woodrow Moore at home; and five daughters, Mrs. John Moose and Mrs. Earl Benge of Thomasville, Mrs. Ed Parker, High Point, and Misses Gertrude and Faye Nell Moore at home.
