NORMA HOPE LADYMAN, 77 of Paragould, died Friday, February 23, 2006 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born November 23, 1928, in Paragould, Mrs. Ladyman retired from Wal-Mart after twenty years of service. She was a member of the Bethel Station Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Ladyman of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Belinda and Gary Coleman of Paragould, Lorrie Lipe, Jamie and Mel Gore all of Portage, Indiana; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dewane and Bill Hunter, Jesslyn Boozer, Cathy and Carrol Childress all of Paragould; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Miller and husband Tom of Greer, South Carolina, Joshua Coleman of San Antonio, Texas, Jason Coleman and wife Laura of Paragould, Mallory, John, and Michael Gore, Casey and Carrie Lipe all of Portage, Indiana; one great granddaughter, Jaden Hope Miller of Greer, South Carolina.

Mrs. Ladyman was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Holifield; her mother, Ruth Cooper; her stepfather, J. R. Cooper; one son, Robert Earl Griggs and one grandson, Justin E. Griggs.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould with Marc Reeves and Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home.

Jeremy Kelley, John Hambrick, Chris Boozer, Zach Beliew, Marty McClung, and Shane Boozer will serve as pallbearers.
