He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Carol of the home in Tulsa; six sons,
James Gilbert Henry of Arizona, Thor Kevin Henry of Tulsa, Sean Evans Henry
of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Douglas Jude Henry of Catoosa, Okalhoma,
Gilbert Otto Henry III of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Shannan Kelley Henry of Tulsa;
three daughters, Yvonne Marie Orwig of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Valerie Rennie
Henry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Patricia Kathleen Bridgeman of Tulsa,
Oklahoma; one sister, Virginia Elam of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; and
5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven William
Henry in June of 1966.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:30 p.m.
Inthe St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Reverend
Timothy Davison was the celebrant. Burial was in the Ft. Sam Houston National
Cemetery in San Antonia, Texas on Thursday, February 19, 2009. Gary
Kelley's Add'Vantage Funeral and Cremation Service of Tulsa, Oklahoma was
in charge of all arrangements.
