Obituary for Virginia Elizabeth Elam
Virginia Elizabeth Elam, 87, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on December 22, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1936 in Haskell, Oklahoma to parents Jurisha Elvira Henry and father Gilbert Otto Henry.

Virginia Elizabeth Elam, a woman of remarkable grace, cultivated a life intertwined with the vibrant tapestry of nature. Born with a green thumb, her hands told stories of seasons passed, nurturing gardens that bloomed with love and beauty. Her connection to the earth was a reflection of the deep roots she planted within her family.

As a devoted mother, Virginia dedicated her days to tending not only to the delicate petals of her garden but also to the growth and well-being of her children. She shared with them the wisdom that comes from nurturing life, both in the soil and in the heart. Her children, in turn, carried forward her legacy of love and resilience.

In the embrace of grandmotherhood, Virginia found renewed purpose. With joyous laughter echoing in the backdrop of her garden, she reveled in the company of her grandkids. From teaching them the names of flowers to sharing the secrets of cultivating a thriving garden, Virginia's bond with her grandchildren was a testament to the enduring power of family.

With the passage of time, as the seasons changed, so did the family tree she had lovingly planted. Virginia's great-grandchildren became the blossoms of a new era, and she continued to pour her wisdom into their hearts. Her life, like a well-tended garden, flourished with the richness of connections, leaving behind a legacy that would continue to bloom for generations.

Virginia Elizabeth Elam's story is one of love sown deeply, cultivated through the seasons of life, and harvested in the hearts of her cherished family.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Geiger; Patti, and husband Dee, Blackwelder; Jim, and wife Vicki, Elam; her grandkids Carri, and husband Paul, Holland; Sarah, and husband Barrett, White; Benjamin, and wife Maranda, Elam; Madilyne Elam; Joshua Elam; and great grandkids Autumn, and husband Spencer, Lovett; and Summer Holland.
