Dillie Mae Coffman Lewis, widow of George Alvery Lewis, he was the love of her life. Any time they were in the car driving she sat right beside him, reminded me of teenagers.
Georgie" as she would call him was everything to her. She was by his side as they were driving to their nieces house because of a bad storm coming in and they wanted to go to her basement to wait it out, he had a massive heart attack in route and pretty much died in her arms. She was not harmed in the wreck except for the loss of her soul mate. When he passed it was as if a part of her passed as well. She was such a loving caring person. She was also preceded in death by their two children James Lewis and Vada Lewis. James died in Indiana, Vada died in Texas. She the daughter of the late Matt Ryan Coffman and Ida Florence Simpson Coffman which are buried in the same cemetery. She was the Daughter-in-Law of John A Lewis and Bertha (Birdie) Burchett Lewis. She was a half sister of Oscar and Willie Coffman. She was a sister to John, Lizzie, Obert, Matt Cecil, Charlie, Virgil, Vester, Mollie Dimple, and Lindsey Coffman. She left behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren. That all loved and missed her.
