Ivy Gareldine Harrington Parker was the daughter of John Tyler Harrington and Hannah Amanda Ellsworth Harrington. She was the granddaughter of James Harrington and Mary Haws Harrington.

She married Markus Wangsness in Seattle, Washington on 21 September 1907. Markus was born at Fergus Falls, Minnesota, on 14 April 1877, and died in Seattle on 24 June 1919. Ivy then married Willard Giles Parker, on 20 June 1930, at Vancouver, Washington. Willard was born at Walworth, Wisconsin, on 3 May 1880.

In 1940 Ivy and Willard lived at Alderdale, Klickitat County, Washington. Willard was a school teacher.
