MRS. MESA IS SUMMONED
Final rites were held last Saturday for Mrs. RITA MESA, 64-year-old resident of Wickenburg who was born here, as were her parents; the late Mr. & Mrs. Pedro GRIJALVA. Mrs. Mesa passed away at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Marcelina GARCIA on Palm Drive.
She had been in ill health for more than 18 months. The date of Mrs. Mesa's birth was March 25, 1890. Her parents, who had come to this area long before the establishment of the town of Wickenburg, operated the Grijalva Gold Mine, 17 miles up the Hassayampa River.
Rosary was said Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Garcia and mass was held Saturday morning, followed by burial in the Garcia Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Nevor MESA of Wickenburg and Pete MESA of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Garcia of here and Mrs. Natividad PALLANES of San Diego, Calif., and a brother, Tony GRIJALVA of Wickenburg.

Mesa passed away at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at the home of her sister, Marcelina Garcia on Palm Drive. She had been in ill health for more than 18 months.
The date of Mesa's birth was March 25, 1890. Her parents, who had come to this area long before the establishment of the town of Wickenburg, operated the Grijalva Gold Mine 17 miles up the Hassayampa River.
