He is my great grand uncle. He was visiting his relatives in Cullom, Illinois over the new year. He had stomach cancer and became seriously ill while there and died. He died at the home of his brother, Lawrence, who was taking him for medical care after the holiday.
It was found that he also had septic poisoning.
He was confirmed at the Cullom Lutheran Church in 1880, and had later moved to Indiana.
He was taken back to Indiana for burial.
