Barbara Haag married William Henry Holschu (Wilhelm Holzschuh), Feb. 21, 1876, in Livingston County, Il.

They had their first 3 children (Anna, Ida, Emma) in Illinois, then moved to Blue Hill, Webster, NE, where their last 4 children were born, 2 sets of twins: George & Clara, 25 Jun 1887, and Bertha & Evelyn, 6 May 1890.

Barbara died 23 Jan 1893 in Roseland, Adams, NE, leaving William with several children. Barbara possibly died of complications of pregnancy with appendicitis. The oldest daughter became known as "Anna, Ma, Sis" because she was all 3 roles for the younger children.
