B. June McLellan, 81, died of natural causes at her residence in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, with her family at her bedside.
June was born on June 26, 1927, in Bend, Ore., to Clyde Henry and Bernice June (Shaw) Scott.
On Jan. 17, 1948, she was married to Milton Edward Richter in Tacoma, Wash., by her grandfather Rev. I.G. Shaw. They moved to Coos Bay, Ore., in 1949 and to Klamath Falls in 1972. Milton preceded her in death in 1982. On June 23, 1984, she was married to William Michael "Bill" McLellan in Klamath Falls. They made their home in Cottage Grove, Ore. Bill died in 1996 and June returned to Klamath Falls. She was a certified medical secretary for many years and worked for Dr. Bartlett for 20 of those years.
She was also a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling, camping, hunting and fishing.
She is survived by her sons, Dave Richter, Tom Richter and his fiance Cindy Jones of Klamath Falls and Terry Richter and his wife, Sunne, of Coquille, Ore.; a grandson Jobe Richter of Eugene, Ore.; her sister Doris Semon of Coos Bay; nephews, Robert Semon of Provo, Utah, and Richard Semon of Benicia, Calif.; her brother Clyde Scott of Arcata, Calif.; sister-in-law Winnie McLellan of Glide, Ore., and her children Kit of Glide and Brian in San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands.
