Albina Ruth Stotenbur was born May 1, 1852, in Pennsylvania, a dau. of Solomon Mitchell Stotenbur (1824-1906) and Rebecca McKeel (1826-1902). She md. Charles W. Annable, Dec. 27, 1871, in Bradford Co., PA. They had one dau., Lalia Mitchell Annable (Mrs. Chauncey G. Thornton). Charles Annable d. Jan. 21, 1881. Ten years later, Albina adopted Edward Raymond Annable, b. Dec. 7, 1901, in New Jersey. Albina wrote short stories published under the pen name, Ruth Raymond. One example is "Christmas Day" in the Dec. 1902 Ladies' World magazine.
