Pekin, Nov. 11- John Raeuber, 98, Tazewell county's oldest citizen, died at 3:15 o'clock this morning at his home in Groveland township seven miles northeast of Pekin.
He was born in Baden, Germany, April 3, 1828. He married Barbara Farney July 24, 1854, who is now deceased.
The surviving children are Joseph Raeuber, Deer Creek; Mrs. Christian Oyer, Tremont; Miss Lydia E. and Susan Raeuber, at home; Mrs. Deloss Bracken, Morton; John L. Raeuber, Deer Creek.
The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:20 from the residence, and at 2 o'clock at the Mennonite church in Groveland.
