ASHBURN,Ga. — Paul Hoyt Calloway, 49, of Ashburn, Ga., died Thursday Feb. 12, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at Grace Baptist Church in Doerun with the Rev. Thomas Morey and the Rev. Charles Puryear officiating. Interment will follow in Doerun City Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Chad Calloway, Jacob Calloway, David Huff, Tyler Maples, Brian Jackson and Chris Westberry.

Born Dec. 12, 1959, in Colquitt County, he was the son of Joe Byrd Calloway and Drew Willie Reeves Calloway of Doerun. He worked in construction for Triple S Communications and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Casper.

Survivors include his parents; a daughter, Alisha "Hope" Brown and husband Ramsey; two sons, Brad Paul Calloway and wife Christi, and Brent Zachary Calloway and wife Tabetha; the mother of his children, Joni Bozeman; two brothers, Larry Joe Calloway and Travis Calloway; four sisters, Christine Pilgrim, Diane Morey, Carolyn Jackson, and Martha Dale Calloway; and seven grandchildren, Morgan Calloway, Kale Calloway, Bo Calloway, Tristan Brown, Tucker Brown, Devin Sheffield, Cheyenne Baird and Amber Johnson.
