Charles Denver Newbanks, 76, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on February 12, 2009. He was born on November 30, 1932 to Wirt and Loie Newbanks in Reedy West Virginia. He was one of 13 children and is survived by 3 brothers, Robert Russell of Parkersburg WV, Ralph Dale of Charlotte NC, and Lloyd Levi of Phoenix AZ, one sister Virginia Irene Atkinson of Phoenix AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers; Luther Glenn, William Roy, Wirt Richard, Earl Francis, John Howard, and Kenneth Eugene and also two sisters; Bonnie A Robinson and Anna Grace Mowrey. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 10-11AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd. Funeral Services will be immediately following at 11AM with burial and Military Honors at 12:30 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
