Mrs. Motes, who had resided in St. Augustine since 1918 died Thursday at her St. Augustine home. She was a member of the St. Augustine Chapter No. 12, Order of the Eastern Star, the St. Augustine Seaside Rebekah Lodge No. 6 and the Jacksonville Council of the Degree of Pocahontas.
Survivors include two daughters and one son, Mrs. Jay Ziegler, Mrs. David C. Mark and Roy Motes, St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Whittaker and Mrs. Annie Annell, St. Augustine; two brothers, Sam Smith, West Palm Beach and Joe Smith, Palatka.
