HAUSEMAN, Virginia Mary (Billee) (née Wilson) - Canadian Sports Pioneer and former Canadian and North American Figure Skating Champion and International Gold Medalist On a beautiful sunny day, February 13, 2009 Billee joined her parents Will and Nan in heaven. Billee was a loving mother to Jack (Fran), Bill, David (Joan), and Paul. She was a special grandmother to Courtney, Cameron, Jaime, Andrew, Jessica, Christopher, Kristian, William and Zachary and great-grandmother to Dylan and Isabelle. She was a wonderful and loving wife to the late Jack Edward Lines Hauseman for fifty years. During the past seven years she enjoyed a special friendship with her companion James Foy. Billee also wanted to recognize the close family relationship she shared with her first cousins Eleanor O'Meara Phelan (deceased) and Father Hodgson Marshall, C.S.B. and her life-long friendship with Isobel Brisbois. Friends may visit at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley) on Tuesday, February 17 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass celebrated on Wednesday, February 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Basil's Church 50 St. Joseph St. (at Bay St.). Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Billee's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. "Mother used to say to me: When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. When you die the world cries and you rejoice. Do something nice for someone every day." Billee
