Anna Gay, 90 of Sanford, Michigan, died January 30, 2009 at Nottingham Place.
The former Anna Maticka was born on April 16, 1918 in Midland, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Sabo) Maticka. Anna was united in marriage to Harold L. Gay on August 20, 1938 in Auburn, Indiana. He predeceased her on July 26, 1995.
She had worked for Meyer Realtors and MidMichigan Reality. Mrs. Gay was an active member of the Sanford United Methodist Church. She had enjoyed dancing, bowling sewing, arranging flowers, plants and was an avid gardener.
Surviving Anna Gay were her children and their spouses, Kenneth and Susan Gay, Janice and Edd Anderson, Julie and Ron Looper, daughter-in-law, Sandy Gay all of Sanford; grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Kym Gay, Tammy and Bob Marks, Kristie and Rich Henrick, Gina Russell, Todd Gay, Dan and Melissa Gay, Ryan and Rhonda Gay, Steven and Leigh Ann Anderson, Marvin and Laurie Anderson, Holly and Mark Grice, Christine and Ralph Rogers, Nickolus and Kim Looper, Namon Looper, Nissa Looper; great grandchildren, Jessika, Rob, Bryan, Shaun, Eric, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Brandon, Matthew, Cameron, Carter, Chloe, Elliette, Mason, Jennifer, Nolan, Nattiel, Shelby, Gaetan, Kelci, Turner, Alyssa, Maticka, Jennifer, Nolan, Alexa; great great grandchild, Skyler; brother, Edward and Aletha Maticka and several nieces and nephews.
