He was a farmer, miner, Justice of the Peace and worked with the Union Pacific Railroad. He served with the U.S. Army during World War I. Was a member of the American Legion #3 at Coalville Ut. He was a member of the 7th LDS Ward in Sunset. He had been bishop of the Echo Ward, Adult Aaronic priesthood, High priest group leader,He was a high counselor.
