Born December 4, 1898 at Kimmundy, Illinois to Isaiah and Marinda Jane Wimmer Carman. Married Lois Rees, September 3, 1926 at Coalville, Utah, She died August 21 1973, He married Mabel Phillips, October 7, 1978 at Sunset, Utah.
He was a farmer, miner, Justice of the Peace and worked with the Union Pacific Railroad. He served with the U.S. Army during World War I. Was a member of the American Legion #3 at Coalville Ut. He was a member of the 7th LDS Ward in Sunset. He had been bishop of the Echo Ward, Adult Aaronic priesthood, High priest group leader,He was a high counselor.
