Phoebe Pearl Carman Burroughs was born in Coalville,Utah on December 12, 1931 to John B. (Jack) and Lois Rees Carman. She was raised on the family farm in Echo, Utah. She played softball for a well renowned yeam coached by Bus Atkins, shw was so excellent shot with a rifle or a pistal, and she was crowned Summit County Queen for 1943.
She married Charles Lester Burroughs December 20, 1957. Moved to Sunset, Utah to raise their family. She loved to play music on the organ and was honored to play in the Ogden Temple for a short time. She was very proud of her John Deere lawn tractor. She loved everyone and delighted in telling a good story or joke.
