He was a deacon and member of Mashak Baptist Church.
George is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mona Kriz of the home, 6 children: Yvonna Mosher and husband Mike, Vonda Dimick, Jayne Kriz, George Kriz III & wife Tina, Ronald Sumner & wife Shelia, and Tommie Lockhart & wife Sherry, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 brothers:
Robert Kriz, Merle Kriz, Donald Kriz, and Johnny Kriz. He raised Becky and Jessica Kriz as his own children instead of grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Hall Kriz father, George Kriz, Sr.; brother, Rickie Kriz; sister, Darlene Kriz Monroe; 1st wife, Charlene Kriz; 1 daughter, Thelma Kriz; 1 son, James Kriz; and 2 nephews.
