Jerry L. Augustine, 62, Canton, Ohio, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at his home. He was born in Ellis, moving to the Canton area 15 years ago.

He was a former employee of Superior Dairy and was currently employed by Gerstenslager in Wooster, Ohio. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Canton, and the Massillon Knights of Columbus Council.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; a son, Kevin Augustine and wife Phyllis, St. Augustine, Fla.; two daughters, Michele Legleiter and husband Jamie, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Lila Wohlwend and husband Eric, Alliance, Ohio; a sister, Frances Flax, Ransom; and eight grandchildren, Cameron, Taylor, Morgan, Bailey and Riley Legleiter and Michael, Aaron and Alicia Augustine.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Father William Kraynak officiating; burial in Ellis. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home, Canton.
