Wm. MITTENDORF DIES
Wm. Mlttenorf, an octogenarian of El Reno, passed away at his home at 718 South Hoff, Friday morning. The deceased was born in 1842 in Oakland county, Ohio, moving while still young with his parents to Gasconada county, Mo. He was married to Louisa Horstman in 1870, and moved to Kansas the same year. He remarried in 1878 to Antonie von Tungeln. In 1894 he moved to Canadian county and has resided here ever since. During the Civil war he served wiith Company D, 58th Infantry, Ohio Volunteers, and waa a member of El Reno Post G. A. R. He received baptism and confirmation in the Lutheran church at the age of 15, and has been a member of that church throughout his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Will, of Los Angeles, Calif., and three daughters, Mrs. Lulu Thornton of Olathe, Kans., and Mrs. Mamie Lorenzen and Mrs. Rebecca Crume, both of El Reno. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the First M. E. Church, conducted by Rev. G. F. Bulrley and interment was in the El Reno cemetery.
