ADELINE BEAN OF CLIPPER MILLS IS DEAD
Mrs. Adeline M. Bean, for 68 years a resident of Clipper Mills and widow of the late Rufus Bean Sr., died at her home at 11pm yesterday.
Mrs. Bean, who was born in Boston, Dec 8, 1851, moved here early in 1872 and married Mr. Bean two years later. Her husband died in Dec. 1926, 54 years after their marriage. For the past 27 years Mrs. Bean has been spending winters at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.C. Darby of Bangor.
Surviving are three daughters and one son, Mrs. L.I. Weed of Oroville, Mrs. Darby, Miss Lillie Bean of Clipper Mills and Rufus Bean Jr., also of Clipper Mills. She also leaves five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30am under the direction of Hamilton and Riley. Burial will be in Upham cemetery near Bangor.
