He was 'adopted' and reared by his aunt Ann (Etchells) Chambers. In 1902, he moved to the Willcox, Arizona area and became a telegraph operator for the Southern Pacific Railroad. While there, he met William "Jack", Ben, Joe and Tom Marks who were also telegraph agents for the railroad throughout southern Arizona. He met & married their youngest sister Mabel Lecher Marks on 15 Sep 1903. In 1906, he and Mabel moved to Globe. In 1909, he was asked to open the depot in Miami so they moved into the boxcars there(see photo). On January 1, 1911, they moved back to the Railroad Court in Globe. Frank was the Station Agent (see photo)in Globe until 1944 when he retired. He died in the Southern Pacific Railroad Hospital in San Francisco. (Submitted by great granddaughter)
