The service will be at 2 PM Sunday at Page Pond Assembly of God in Altha, with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM today at Bailey Funeral Home in Altha.
A lifelong resident of Calhoun County, he had been a timber contractor.
He is survived by a son, Jackie Sewell of Altha; a daughter, Margaret Tatum of Altha; three sisters, Middie Shattles of Port St. Joe, Jennie Taylor of Altha and Edell Laramore of Panama City; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
