DEATHS---MID R. WILLIAMS
Mid R. Williams, son of Uriah and Amelia Greenwood Williams, was born Aug 9, 1896, at Hollis, Kan., and died Feb 1, 1972, in Knoxville, Iowa, at the Veterans home and hospital where he had been for 12 years. He received his education at the Minersville school. He spent the greater part of his life in the Hollis community, working at various jobs as a handyman, at farming and painting. He was a veteran of World War I. He was the last of his family being preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Donald J. Koehn officiating. Interment was in Zion Cemetery at Talmo [Kansas].
