Richard L. Kephart of West Decatur passed away at Clearfield Hospital on Feb. 5. 2009

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time, to be announced.

There will be public viewing. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

WEST DECATUR - Richard L. Kephart, 67, of West Decatur died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Clearfield Hospital.

Born Dec. 30, 1941, at Ashland, he was a son of Betty Litton) Kephart of Gearhartville and the late Clarence Kephart.

He was Christian by faith.

Mr. Kephart was a truck driver and worked for Peerless Transport for 11 1/2 years and retired from Preston Trucking.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and
the Teamsters.

On April 9, 1960, at West Decatur, he wed Bonita E. (Dixon) Kephart, who survives at home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Terrilee Watro of West Decatur; a son, Tracy Kephart and his wife, Adena, of Ashland; and two grandchildren, Brittny Kephart and Kyle Watro.

Also surviving are a sister, Leatta "Doll" Acey of Brisbin; and two brothers, Blair "Sonny" Kephart and his wife, Bonnie, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Carl Kephart and his wife, Carol, of Gearhartville.

Mr. Kephart was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with the Rev. David W. Taylor officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Saturday, Feb. 21, from 1 p.m. until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, PA 16866..
