TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Nettie L. Armstrong, 72, died at her home here at 4:55 p.m. Monday (June 29 1959) following an illness of several months.
Born near Owensville on May 7, 1887, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Spore. She had lived in the community her entire lifetime. She was the wife of Lemuel Armstrong, a retired farmer. About six months ago, they had purchased a home in town, retiring from the farm.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Princeton.
Surviving beside the husband is a brother, Horace Spore, three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Moser and Mrs. Earl Smith of Owensville and Mrs. Ada Bingham of Princeton; a niece Mrs. James Cunningham of Fort Branch and two nephews, Robert Spore of Evansville and Gerald Spore of Bloomington.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Holder Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Melvin and Arthur Couch, William and Jack Dyball, David and James R. Armstrong.
